Docks
Tilbury Docks required Aworth Survey Consultants to
determine any deflection or tilt in two, ten storey
portable marine loading towers (able to load 1000 tonnes
of grain) caused by either the extending of the loading
arms or the movement of the towers along their rails.The
engineering survey results were presented as sectional
and elevation drawings and discovered a small lean seaward
and a further movement whilst offloading - although
both were within design tolerances. |
