National Garden Month

April is National Garden Month when we celebrate gardens and gardening. Over the years, we have supported many clients to create stunning gardens, including the company Modular, which relies on us to deliver accurate and comprehensive survey data. 

Modular was co-founded by Chelsea Gold Medal winner and television gardening presenter, Joe Swift, who creates stunning, award winning gardens and landscapes for private and commercial clients.  

This image shows a residential design and installation project completed by Modular in Radlett Hertfordshire. The company says:  

“Our clients wanted a comfortable contemporary outdoor space, whilst feeling fully connected to the natural world. The gabion baskets filled with slate are an ideal retaining and terracing solution; their nooks and crannies fabulous make habitats for all kinds of wildlife. The naturalistic planting of grasses and perennials knit together through spring, peak in summer when bulbs like alliums push through, yet still look good in autumn and through winter as they decay (again great cover for wildlife). Everything gets cut back in early spring when the process starts over again.” 

Here at Aworth, our work in gardens also includes establishing accurately where boundaries are, as well as supporting clients with map data when they are looking to erect a home office or space for a gym or hobby room in their garden.
