New Exceat Bridge construction given the green light

Aworth Survey Consultants is pleased to announce that East Sussex County Council has awarded Jackson Civil Engineering the contract to construct the new £21.7m Exceat Bridge.

Aworth played a vital role in the project’s preparation, providing the comprehensive topographical survey data of the road, the surrounding landscape, and the River Cuckmere, as well as the precise bridge elevations and sections required by the Council.

Cllr Claire Dowling said, “The appointment means we can move forward to construction of the bridge, which has been many years in the planning.”
