We were pleased to see that a recent BBC news article regarding BTec examination results included an image of a young person surveying! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-53843148 Here at Aworth Survey Consultants, we are proud of how, over the past 50 years, we’ve built a reputation for nurturing talented young surveyors and are passionate about promoting surveying as a career choice.
In fact, Managing Director John Witherden himself joined the firm as a trainee land surveyor straight from school in 1975.
“Surveying seemed to combine all the things I was interested in and passionate about; a job that required me to work outside, with technical equipment and with opportunities to work in different places was extremely appealing,” he explains.
